The Central Information Commission has been constituted with effect from 12-10-2005 under the Right to Information Act, 2005. The jurisdiction of the Commission extends over all Central Public Authorities.
All CPIOs and FAAs are advised to log in to the
CIC Second Appeal Portal
to file their written submissions even before the case is listed for hearing and without waiting for service of Hearing Notice, including cases in which copy of Second Appeal/Complaint is not served by the Appellant.
Nodal Officers have access to e-book of Second Appeals/Complaints.
